Dear Adventurer,
discover Tanzania in a way few travelers do—up close, authentic, and far from the crowds. This unforgettable journey takes you from the base of Africa’s highest peak to remote crater lakes, dramatic walking safaris, and the world-famous Serengeti. A once-in-a-lifetime adventure you’ll want to save, share, or even print and keep on your travel dream board.

Day 1 – Moshi

After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll head straight to Moshi, where you’ll stay en route to Mkomazi National Park. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Moshi is the gateway for climbers and adventurers heading toward the continent’s most iconic summit.
Days 2–3 – Mkomazi National Park
Mkomazi, located near the Kenyan border, is a hidden gem known for its diverse landscapes and a large year-round watering hole, where wildlife frequently gathers in stunning surroundings.
Expect to see elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, lions, zebras, oryx, leopards, warthogs, and an impressive array of birdlife. The park is also recognized for its successful conservation initiatives, particularly for the endangered black rhino. If you love birds, you’ve found paradise.
Take a peaceful boat ride along the Mkomazi River and enjoy two immersive days of safari experiences that will stay with you forever.
Day 4 - Arusha
Visit the lively local market and, optionally, a nearby orphanage.
The afternoon is free for your own exploration or for an optional guided bush walk in Arusha National Park.
Days 5 / 6 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Spend the night on the breathtaking rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
At sunrise, set off for game drives on the crater floor, one of the world’s most concentrated and spectacular wildlife viewing areas.
Days 6–9 – Walking Safari from Empakaai Crater to Lake Natron
Begin a three-day walking safari to the awe-inspiring Empakaai Crater, a dormant volcano filled with a shimmering salt lake and surrounded by dense forest—home to flamingos and a rich variety of bird species. Stay overnight in a comfortable camp with panoramic views of the crater after exploring its hidden corners. Your second day of hiking takes you through stunning and ever-changing landscapes to the scenic Bulati Camp, where you’ll enjoy warm hospitality and hearty meals in the midst of nature.
The final stop of your walking adventure is Lake Natron, a surreal, mineral-rich salt lake near the Kenyan border. Its vibrant red hues—caused by high concentrations of salts and minerals—make it one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary natural wonders. The lake also serves as a crucial breeding ground for flamingos and other birds.
Days 10–13 – Serengeti National Park
Welcome to the beating heart of Tanzania’s wildlife kingdom: the central Serengeti.
This legendary national park is home to the spectacular migration of wildebeest and zebras, as well as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Spend three days on tailor-made game drives, planned in collaboration with your expert guide to suit your interests and pace.
And yes—there will be sundowners in the wild. Because no African safari is complete without them.
Option extension
End your adventure in style with a beach escape on the dreamlike shores of Zanzibar—direct flights available from the Serengeti.
