Magnesium citrate is a preparation of magnesium in salt form with citric acid in a ratio of 1:1 (1 atom of magnesium per molecule of citrate). This association has indeed shown the best rates of assimilation and is better tolerated. It is the solution that is regularly used for premium quality products.

Magnesium is an essential mineral: it participates in the functioning of more than 300 enzymes that are involved in energy source reactions (especially for muscles and brain). Considered by the scientists as the "energy" mineral, a lack of magnesium leads to neuromuscular hyperexcitability.

Symptoms can appear on the mental level with anxiety, irritability, morning fatigue, headaches or insomnia. They can also magnify on the muscular level with cramps and for example exaggerated tiredness during effort.
